Also, before I forget

Hillary Clinton has won the primary in Pennsylvania. This throws the Democratic primary into a complete tornado. I just hope they spend more time focusing on each other, and less time attacking the Republicans.

Who knew?

Who knew getting from CUA to the University of Maryland would be so hard? I have 30 minutes to take a Metro train to the UMD stop, take a shuttle bus, and run to my class when it starts in June. This could be interesting.

On a completely different note, I've heard rumors that the call received by Child Protection Services in Texas from an alleged sexual assault victim within the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints compound is false. The rumors are that some random woman from Colorado placed the call, pretending to be the assault victim. This is a horrible thing that is happening to a people that kept to themselves, and there is no real proof anything has happened aside from what got Warren Jeffs placed in jail, but that was his own fault. The state of Texas has yet to prove anything has happened, and before this proof has even been shown, over 400 children have been forcefully taken from their parents and placed into foster care, in a world where they, honestly, probably don't belong and don't want to belong in. Until I see some hard, physical proof that any sort of sexual assault or rape or child abuse has happened, I think it is a complete abuse of the justice system and these children should be immediately returned to their parents, with a public apology from the state of Texas.

Better mood...damn DC

At least I'm in a better mood now that I'm all approved for my summer courses at GWU and UMD. Aside from the fact that the CUA class starts at 9 am every day and when the UMD one starts, I'll have 30 bloody minutes to get from Hannan Hall to where ever the UMD class is located, I'm perfect.

Oh, and damn DC for their crime rates. I just read that, although crime rates overall are down, burglary rates are up. I should have like a lock on every item I have that is movable. If someone tries to rob me and I catch them, well, may God have mercy on his soul because I won't. This city better do something drastic to fix this crime. I don't really care what, just do something DC. DO SOMETHING!

Ugh...hmmm....ehh......meh...bleh

I've been feeling really tired lately. As to why, I wouldn't know. My paper due Friday, along with a short "presentation" may not go very well. Not that the paper won't be good, but I'm not exactly a good presenter. I usually rely on others. I have to write a "project" for my theology class which I'm not looking forward to because I have to compare a Mass I have to attend with a "eucharistic model." I'm not going to lie, even though I didn't really read much of the book, I just don't get the models. Probably my fault, oh well. I'm mostly just not looking forward to being stuck down here for half of my summer. I had plans, ideas, things to look forward to doing, and now those are either delayed or not going to happen. Ugh.

Keeping up with postings...

I try my best, but no promises on when or how this will be updated. Keep on the lookout for anything.

On a completely different subject, Facebook applications can be a pain in the royal backside, especially one called "What's your sexual being" or something stupid like that. Clicking "ignore" doesn't do anything, the page doesn't even change. I had to click "accept" then "cancel" to get rid of the stupid notification. Gay-ass applications.

Fusion Power

I found this link about a solar array on the blog of a certain friend who shall remain unnamed.

http://www.inhabitat.com/2008/04/10/mojave-desert-solar-power-fields/

This is the DUMBEST thing I've ever seen. This thing takes up more space than Al Gore's ego after An Inconvenient Truth got its Oscars. We should take that money being spent on this massive waste that doesn't work whenever clouds come overheads and use it to fund the research of nuclear fusion energy. Fusion is the hope for humanity. It is completely clean, creates no radioactive waste, creates a massive amount of energy, like incomprehensible levels of energy, takes up little space, and can possibly be miniaturized, unlike solar or wind plants. Fusion power is the wave of the future. All we need to do is get the reactor to start being self-sustaining, by expelling more energy than is required to start the reaction. It is the same reaction that powers the sun. If perfected, it will be like the wheel was just invented.

Masters

The Masters. The epitome of all golfing events. The one event any golfer would kill to get into. It was more than awesome. It was amazing. Saturday rained almost all day, got drenched, but Sunday was gorgeous. At least Tiger lost. I didn't care who won, I just didn't want Tiger to win. Lucky bastard only got second because Paul Casey, Brandt Snedeker, Steve Flesch, and Phil Mickelson crashed and burned. Trevor Immelman won. Got to see his weak celebration after winning because he was so far ahead of everyone else. Paul Casey should've won. Whatever, it's all good. Augusta National is amazing. I feel like if golf were a drug, I just injected, snorted, and smoked like 50 pounds of it. I now want to golf like there is no tomorrow, I need new clubs, new clothes, all that good stuff. All good stuff.

Apparently, this is the new fad...

Finally, hoping to create a blog that actually remains longer than 3 days. Let's see how well this goes...
